Depending on the location of the media, visual navigation in shopping malls is divided into two types: outdoor (street) navigation and indoor (interior).

Outdoor navigation
These can be wall signs, directional signs, posters, navigation pylons and stands, electronic banners and panels, house and road signs. Rarely, there are elements of volumetric information. They can be in the form of inflatables or other volumetric structures.

Indoor navigation
